At EBNC we develop an integrated solution approach to various businesses involved in crop production, including farming and contract farming, seed supply, agriculture defensive and fertilizers, farm machinery, wholesale and distribution, processing, marketing and retail sales.

Crop production

At that segment of our activities we we develop a investigation on our farms taking into consideration suitable crops for the conditions of the land. On the selection of seeds we choose those more resistant to diseases and plagues commonly found in the area; those seeds that help to preserve soil fertility, avoid erosion and fight against degradation. Local and international marketing studies are made to absorb the expected crop production.

In this context we refer to plants that are grown on large scale for food, clothing and other human uses. They are harvest as food, livestock fodder, fuel or for any other economic purpose.

Major crops include maize, wheat, rice, cassava, soybeans, hay, potatoes and cotton.

Out grower schemes

We develop local arrangements for farming operations with farmers and rural labours, whereby they are linked with EBNC farming operations or our processing plants which supports production planning, input supply, extension advice and transport. This out grower schemes are developed in participatory assessment approach involving all stakeholders.

Agriculture fertilizers and defensive

EBNC uses its own products developed by internationally recognized companies. They are at highest level of quality and are environment friendly. They enter in each cycle of the crop production from the seed and soil preparation, fertigation (irrigation plus fertilizer application through spray) to improve plant health, prevention of common diseases and plagues, etc..

Farm machinery

At EBNC we refer to all equipment involved in the farm operations. They might be classified as the following:

  • Combine harvester.
  • Tractors to pull implements -- machines that till the ground, plant seed, and perform other tasks.
  • Planter that space seeds out equally in long rows
  • Transplanters to automate the task of transplanting seedlings to the field.
  • After cultivation other implements are used to cultivate weeds from between rows, or to spread fertilizer and defensive.
  • Machinery that are used for modern irrigation, such as: engine, pumps that used to deliver fertilizer and defensive.
  • Besides those above mentioned, other vehicles that are adapted for use in farming, such as trucks for transporting crops, aerial spraying and livestock herd management.

Whole sale

We organize our goods and those from our partners in large lots, break bulk, repack and redistribute in smaller lots, maintaining the high quality and preservation.
